Northwestern College will break ground for a new women’s suite-style residence hall during a noon ceremony Friday, April 21.
“Harvey,” the beloved tale of Elwood P. Dowd and his best friend—a 6-foot-tall invisible rabbit—is the next theatre production at Northwestern College. Performances are scheduled for April 21-22, 27 and 29.
The Northwestern College music department will present a series of concerts in April and early May, featuring music from the A cappella Choir, Women’s Choir, Jazz Band, Orchestra and Percussion Ensemble. The concerts will be held in Christ Chapel and are free and open to the public.
Northwestern College’s Center for Innovation & Leadership and Department of Biblical and Theological Studies are co-sponsoring a webinar and networking event, “Social Enterprise: Entrepreneurship and the Common Good,” on Friday, April 14.
Northwestern College’s theatre department will celebrate its centennial with two days of special events Friday and Saturday, April 28 and 29.
Northwestern College students will present their annual dance concert, RUSH, in the DeWitt Theatre Arts Center during six performances March 23-25.

Northwestern College senior theatre major Sierra Tumbleson was awarded first place in the dramaturgy category at the Region Five Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival in Des Moines Jan. 22 to 28.
Dr. Michael Kugler, professor of history at Northwestern College, served as editor of a newly published book, “Into the Jungle! A Boy’s Comic Strip History of World War II.” The book features comic strips hand-drawn by Kugler’s father in the 1940s.
