Northwestern College’s Master of Education program tied for 73rd out of more than 300 schools in U.S. News & World Report’s 2024 Best Online Master’s in Education Programs ranking. Northwestern also tied for 90th in U.S. News’ online bachelor’s degree program category—highest among institutions in Iowa.
Northwestern College’s theatre department will present “Even Though I Know,” featuring stories written with—and acted alongside—students with intellectual or developmental disabilities who are part of the Northwestern NEXT program.

The Northwestern College Symphonic Band will present a concert titled “… with Love” on Friday, Feb. 9, at 7:30 p.m.
Northwestern College will hold its annual Day of Giving on Thursday, Feb. 8. Titled AllNDay, the event is designed to encourage alumni and friends of the college to be “all in” with their support for Northwestern.
Northwestern College senior Jack MacGregor, a theatre major from Denison, Iowa, received national recognition at the Region Five Kennedy Center College Theatre Festival (KCACTF), which was held in Des Moines Jan. 16–21.
For the fifth year in a row, Northwestern College has set a spring enrollment record. This year’s number is 1,603, up from 1,584 last spring.
Northwestern College has been certified as a Best Christian Workplace based on data from the 2023 Best Christian Workplaces Institute survey, which measures the health of workplace culture in Christian organizations.
