The MOC-Floyd Valley Pride of the Dutchmen Marching Band will host approximately 30 bands from Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, and South Dakota for the 16th annual Dutchmen Field Championship marching band competition. The competition will be held on October 12 at Korver Field in Orange City.
There will be over 2,000 band members participating and 2,500 spectators in Orange City for the event.
Performances will start at 2:30 p.m. and will conclude with an exhibition performance by the Pride of the Dutchmen Marching Band. Admission is $10 for adults (includes a program) and $5 for students.
At the end of the competition, fireworks will be on display prior to the awards ceremony. All are invited to attend and enjoy the performances in Orange City.
