Julie and her family recently relocated to Orange City from Wisconsin due to her husband’s work. Below Julie shares her experience moving to our small community in northwest Iowa:
How would you describe your lifestyle in Orange City?
We have fully immersed ourselves in the community. We have found such amazing activities and things to do here! Our favorite has been the summer recreation programs and the pool.
What has surprised you the most about living in Orange City?
How friendly, helpful, and welcoming everyone is here! We met all of our neighbors within a couple days of moving into our home!
What do you most enjoy about the community?
We love the golf course, and the boys love the pool and all the parks! We also love having donuts from Dutch Bakery on Saturday mornings and sitting downtown.
What makes Orange City unique from other places you’ve lived?
Orange City is so peaceful and truly captures the essence of community! It has been such a breath of fresh air with how welcoming and helpful people have been!
What should others outside of Orange City or those considering a move to Orange City know?
I found Orange City by googling best places to live in Iowa. Orange City was in the top five places to raise a family. I am so glad we found this place! We have been so happy here!
