Northwest Iowa Community College, along with Northwestern College and Orange City Area Health System, is offering a new Hybrid EMT Course.
The Fall course will start on August 30 at Northwestern College from 6–9pm. The Hybrid EMT Course consists of online coursework with class lectures on Tuesdays from 7-9pm. Six all-day Saturday skills sessions will also be held at the Northwestern College campus. The blend of online learning and face-to-face skills labs shortens the duration of the course.
Orange City Area Health System is always looking for EMTs to join their ambulance team, and will pay all tuition costs for the Hybrid EMT Course for those that sign on to the OCAHS ambulance squad.
