Northwestern College has set a spring enrollment record with 1,525 students. This year’s number is up from 1,482 last spring.
The 2022 enrollment figures also include a slight increase in online and graduate student enrollment. This spring 483 students are enrolled in Northwestern’s online Master of Education programs, degree-completion programs in early childhood and nursing, and graduate endorsements and certificates—up from 473 last fall.
A 92.2% retention rate for freshmen also contributed to this spring’s record.
“We are pleased to set new enrollment records each semester,” says Tamara Fynaardt, vice president for enrollment and marketing. “Increases in Northwestern’s enrollment—along with a record-high freshman retention rate—are evidence that students resonate with our continued commitment to offer standout programs and to provide an encouraging, Christ-centered community in which to grow.”
