Orange City Family Animal Care received its Small Business of the Week award on September 23rd. Iowa U.S. Senator Joni Ernst was on hand to present Dr. Laura Vander Stelt and staff with their Congressional Record of the honor. Since 2023, the clinic has expanded to a 10-person team and recently relocated to its new facility in downtown Orange City (208 Albany Ave NE, Orange City, IA 51041).
To begin the ceremony portion of the event, Larry Wajda, Regional Director for the Iowa Small Business Development Center, spoke on the importance of community support. Mayor De De Haan also spoke about the value of this business in Orange City before Senator Ernst spoke. She shared about her role in choosing small businesses and the importance of their role not only in the community, but also for the Iowa economy!
