The Dutch American Heritage Museum will continue its 2019 “Nights at the Museum” series on Tuesday, September 10, at 6:30 p.m., with Dr. James C. Schaap presenting “Our Native American Neighbors”.
The northwest Iowa region’s history includes the tribal stories of the Winnebagos, Omahas, Poncas, Yanktons and the Santees. All are encouraged to attend to learn more about our neighbors.
The “Nights at the Museum” events, held throughout the summer and fall, feature a guest speaker sharing a topic of regional historical interest.
Seating is limited, and the museum opens for the presentation at 6:00 p.m. A freewill donation will be taken at the door.
