Michael grew up in Alton, Iowa, and left the community for college in eastern Iowa. After graduation, he headed to Chicago, but now he’s back in northwest Iowa, experiencing vibrant life in Orange City.

“I think we appreciate the cultural events and the community events. Coming from Chicago, we’d go to see the orchestra or hear music in the park. It’s nice to come back to Orange City, a much smaller town, and we still have the shows in the park and these cultural events.”

After working in the comedy scene in Chicago, Michael has found his own career opportunity with AIM Aerospace in Orange City.

“You can have the best of both worlds. You can have a great job, and you can have a really great community. I think Orange City has both.”
