Northwestern College to be a Host Site for the Global Leadership Summit in August

For the third year, Northwestern College will be a host site for the Global Leadership Summit, taking place on Aug. 8 and 9. Two days of presentations by internationally known leadership experts will be livestreamed in the DeWitt Theatre Arts Center.

Attendees can register at the early bird rate of $199 through June 25. Additional discounts are available for teams of 10 or more. Visit www.nwciowa.edu/GLS to register.

This year’s world-class Summit faculty is made up of more than a dozen diverse thought leaders from the business and nonprofit sectors, including:

  • Liz Bohannon: founder of socially-conscious fashion brand Sseko Designs
  • Aja Brown: mayor of Compton, Calif., and recipient of the John F. Kennedy New Frontier Award
  • DeVon Franklin: film producer and named among Influential Christians Under 40 by Beliefnet
  • Bear Grylls: star of the TV show “Man Vs. Wild” and author of “Soul Fuel”
  • Dr. Krish Kandiah: adoption advocate and founder of Home for Good
  • Patrick Lencioni: best-selling author of The Five Dysfunctions of a Team
