Orange City Area Health System has been included on Becker’s Hospital Review’s list of 250 hospitals nationwide to earn a five-star patient survey rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). OCAHS is one of just nine Iowa hospitals included on the list.
Five stars is the highest rating possible on CMS’s overall hospital rating measure for patient experience. Ratings are calculated using results from the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems survey, which gathers feedback from patients about their experiences during a recent hospital stay.
