Orange City has expanded its trail network with projects at Veterans Park and along St. Paul Avenue.
- St Paul Avenue – this project was a high priority for the City as it provided a new sidewalk and trail along St. Paul Avenue. This will be heavily used by runners, cyclists, and students commuting to school. Earl Woudstra said, “This project will not only improve safety but also provide important connections to existing routes, such as the Puddle Jumper Trail and the path towards the Dunlop Wildlife Area.”
- Veterans Park – this project was highly requested by residents who noticed safety challenges on 5th St and Michigan Avenue. It provides a safe walking route to Unity Christian and OCCS.
These projects provide great quality-of-life amenities in our town, and we are thankful for the City’s investment in these areas!
