Revival Animal Health to Host Petsmas in July with Free Fun, Concert and Fireworks

Revival Animal Health will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a community event called Petsmas in July on July 27, 2019. The day will include a host of pet-and family-friendly activities beginning at 2:00 pm at Revival Animal Health’s headquarters.

“Petsmas is our chance to celebrate healthy pets and our community leading up to our thirtieth anniversary,” says Karen Vanden Brink, Director of Operations and member of the Petsmas committee. “We really believe our people make the difference and the great culture we have at Revival is rooted in values that stem from our community.”

The day will begin at Revival Animal Health’s headquarters (1700 Albany Place SE) at 2:00 pm. Activities will include building tours, bouncy houses for the kids, an agility course for dogs to try out, and wiener dog races. All activities at Revival will be free from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. There will also be food trucks with snacks available for purchase on-site.

From 5:00 to 7:00 pm there will be a pork cookoff and $6 meal at the greenspace north of the REC (1645 Albany Place SE). Revival leaders and local celebrities will be judging the pork cookoff while the community is welcome to enjoy pulled pork sandwiches, watermelon and chips. Beverages, including water, soda, and beer will be available.

At 7:00 pm, a free concert by the Diamond Empire Band will begin. These talented musicians will play a variety of family-friendly, high-energy music to listen or dance to until 10:00 pm. The evening will end with a fireworks display at approximately 10:00 pm, which is expected to conclude by 10:30.

Event attendees can park at Staples for free. For more information on Petsmas or to register for the Wiener dog races, visit Revival Animal Health’s Facebook page or email events@revivalanimal.com.
