SEKISUI Aerospace in Orange City will hold a coat drive October 5-12. The 2020 Coats for Kids Drive aims to provide winter coats for elementary students in the MOC-Floyd Valley school district and Orange City Christian School.
Community members are encouraged to donate any new or gently used winter coats, gloves, mittens and hats. Recommended sizes are youth small to adult small. Cash donations will also be accepted.
Donations may be dropped off at the front entry of SEKISUI Aerospace, 403 14th St. SE in Orange City, during the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This is the first year for the winter coat drive. SEKISUI CHEMICAL asked each location to select a goal from the company’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s). The Orange City location chose poverty and look forward to collecting winter clothes for area children in need.
