Sinterklaas Dag set for Dec. 7 in Downtown Orange City

Welkom Sinterklaas to town on Saturday, December 7, at 10:30 a.m. Children and families are invited to meet downtown at Stadscentrum and walk with Sinterklaas and Piet to the City Hall. Once there, kids ages kindergarten through fourth grade can enjoy Dutch stories, treats and games.

The Sinterklaas Day Celebration, on the first Saturday of December, draws children and their families to downtown Orange City to see the arrival of the Dutch “Santa” on his white horse. This is a popular day for the area children and their families to come and enjoy the spirit of Christmas in Orange City’s “Dutch Village” atmosphere.

Sinterklaas Dag is organized and hosted by the Dutch Heritage Boosters.
