Jeff Barker, professor emeritus of theatre at Northwestern College, has completed his third book about a Sioux Center woman who spent 33 years as a missionary nurse in Africa.
Northwestern College will award an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree to Arlene Schuiteman of Sioux Center, a missionary nurse who served more than 30 years in Africa, on July 18.
