Northwestern College music department to present fall showcase Oct. 5

Northwestern College’s theatre department will present “The Perfect Dog” children’s play Friday evening and Saturday afternoon, Oct. 4 and 5. Both performances—at 7 p.m. Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday—will take place in the DeWitt Theatre Art Center’s Allen Black Box Theatre.
Northwestern College will present four of its alumni with awards recognizing their accomplishments and service during Raider Nation Celebration, the college’s Homecoming and Family Weekend. The recipients will be honored during a banquet Saturday evening, Oct. 5.
Members of the public are invited to join Northwestern College students, faculty, staff and trustees for the dedication of the college’s newest building, the Greg and Michelle Christy Suites. Tours of the residence hall will follow the 4 p.m. ceremony on Friday, Oct. 4.
Northwestern College will hold Raider Nation Celebration, the college’s annual Homecoming and Family Weekend, Oct. 4–5. The weekend’s events include class reunions, banquets, athletic events, a music showcase, and traditions such as the Morning on the Green carnival.
Northwestern College continues to set enrollment records. This fall’s total enrollment is 1,719, up from last year’s 1,675.
Julie Elliott, Northwestern College’s vice president for student life, will present at the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities Legal and Public Policy Conference in West Palm Beach, Florida, Sept. 16-18.
Northwestern College’s Center for Innovation & Leadership welcomes the 2024–25 cohort selected for the Accelerate Siouxland leadership development program.
Northwestern College invites high school and transfer students to visit campus during the 2024–25 school year. Both individual visits and Raider Days (group visit days) serve as an introduction to the college for prospective students.
