The Northwestern College music department will present its annual Christmas Vespers concerts on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 7, at 3 p.m. in Christ Chapel. The events are free and open to the public.
The Northwestern College Symphonic Band will honor various heroes at a concert on Friday, Nov. 7, and the Heritage Singers and Jazz Band will perform Friday, Nov. 14. Three chamber ensembles will perform Friday, Dec. 12. All events will be held at 7:30 p.m. in Christ Chapel and are free and open to the public.
Northwestern College’s A cappella Choir will embark on a concert tour in South Dakota and Nebraska April 3-6. Following the tour, the A cappella Choir will perform a home concert in Christ Chapel on Friday, April 11, at 7:30 p.m.
The Northwestern College Heritage Singers will present madrigal dinners Jan. 24 and 25 at 7:30 p.m. in the Allen Black Box Theatre.
The Northwestern College A cappella Choir will present a concert Friday, March 15, at 7:30 p.m. in Christ Chapel, following its March 2–10 spring tour.
The Northwestern College music department will host concerts by an organist and an opera singer during the month of September.
Northwestern College’s Heritage Singers chamber choir will perform the opera “Dido and Aeneas” Jan. 27 and 28 at 7:30 p.m. in the England Proscenium Theatre.
Northwestern College’s 2022 Christmas Vespers concert, “In the Footsteps of Mary,” will be presented Saturday, Dec. 3, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 4, at 3 p.m. in Christ Chapel.
Northwestern College will host concerts by a Dutch organist and numerous music department ensembles on Sept. 24 and Oct. 1, respectively.
After spending the school year making plans, preparing music and fundraising, Northwestern College’s A cappella Choir will soon embark on its tour of Denmark and Sweden, May 17–29.
