The Orange City Chamber of Commerce, Orange City Ambassadors and community members gathered together on Monday, January 27, to celebrate the completion of Orange City Christian School‘s (OCCS) building expansion. Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, attendees were able to tour the new facilities and engage with staff at OCCS.
The addition is part of the school’s Project Engage initiative, a three-part vision for the school to accommodate growing student enrollment. The first two phases aim to address current needs, and the last phase addresses the future needs of the school. Phase 1 of the project was initially approved in 2018 by the OCCS community.
The Phase 1 completed areas include a secondary music room, two new classrooms, collaborative spaces and a storage area.
