Dove Award-winning Christian pop rock band Sidewalk Prophets will bring their Something Different Tour (in 3D) to Northwestern College on Friday, Oct. 5. The concert will begin at 8 p.m. in Christ Chapel.
General admission tickets are $10 and can be purchased online and in Northwestern’s student life office in the Ramaker Center. Concert-goers can purchase early-entry tickets for $25, which also grant the opportunity to be part of the band’s daily devotional and a pair of limited-edition 3D glasses. A $45 VIP ticket includes the same perks as the $25 ticket package, as well as a tour laminate and a post-concert opportunity to meet the band. Ticket prices will increase the day of the show.
The concert will feature live performances by Sidewalk Prophets, including songs from their “Something Different” album such as the hit “Come to the Table.” The group is also known for songs like “Words I Would Say,” “You Love Me Anyway” and “Live Like That,” which was nominated for the 2013 GMA Dove Awards Song of the Year.
The Something Different Tour (in 3D) offers a one-of-a-kind experience for attendees, as the venue lobby will look, sound and feel like a retro arcade. Cinematic 3D visuals will be used throughout the lobby and during the show.
The Sidewalk Prophets have sold nearly 700,000 albums and 1.6 million digital music downloads and have performed for more than 2.5 million fans. The group has been nominated for a Billboard Music Award; multiple K-LOVE Fan Awards; and four Dove Awards, including the 2010 Dove Award for New Artist of the Year.
The concert will also feature performances by special guests Bonray, a Christian pop band comprised of four siblings; and Carmen Justice, a Christian indie pop artist.
