Dutch American Heritage Museum Presents: Bullets, Booze and a Noose

The Dutch American Heritage Museum will kick off its 2019 “Nights at the Museum” series on Wednesday, June 26 at 6:00 p.m., with Sarah Huyser and Dr. Rebecca Koerselman presenting Bullets, Booze and a Noose.

It’s 1921, the prohibition era, and Sioux County residents are riveted by the murder trial of Ira “Hard Boiled” Pavey, a gangster and bootlegger.

The “Nights at the Museum” events, held throughout the summer and fall, feature a guest speaker sharing a topic of regional historical interest.

Seating is limited and the museum opens for the presentation at 5:30 p.m. A freewill donation will be taken at the door.
