Northwestern College’s physician assistant master’s program will officially launch June 1 with a cohort of 24 students.
Northwestern College has received $120,000 from the Roy J. Carver Charitable Trust for laboratory equipment that will be used by students in the college’s new physician assistant studies and athletic training master’s degree programs.
Northwestern College’s master’s degree program in physician assistant studies has received the green light college officials were waiting for: accreditation-provisional, which is the initial accreditation status for new programs.
Plans are underway to start a master’s degree program in physician assistant studies at Northwestern College in 2020.
Faculty members have moved from the Twin Cities, Pennsylvania and western Nebraska to join Northwestern College’s faculty this fall.
